These pages are by no means extensive. They are meant to be a quick reference for the user who is new to Linux and new to running VASP on our machine. Suggestions for improvement are welcome via email.

FRI Summer Research Fellowships!

Fellowships are available for FRI students participating in their first summer research experience.
This is an opportunity for you to engage more deeply in the research, gain confidence in the lab, and develop your leadership skills.
Support can be for full or part-time research placements, determined by your research supervisor and the availability of each type of position in your stream.
- Full-time fellowships are $3000; requires 35-40 hours per week for at least 8 weeks, or the equivalent.
- Half-time fellowship is $1500; requires 18-20 hours per week for eight weeks, 35-40 hours per week for four weeks, or the equivalent.
